Karen Baker Mesa is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 20 years of dermatology experience. Born and raised in Miami, Karen graduated pre-med from University of Miami and obtained a Master’s degree in Public Health as well as a second Bachelor degree in Science from Nova Southeastern University.
Karen’s professionalism and expertise include diagnosing and treating a wide variety of skin, hair and nail conditions in both pediatric and adult medicine. Some of these include skin cancer, eczema, acne/rosacea, psoriasis and hair loss. Karen also performs surgical and cosmetic procedures, tailoring a plan to your individual needs. She is dedicated to providing quality care and believes that good skin requires a diverse approach.
Karen has lectured at the American Academy of Dermatology, (AAD) Conference, as well as published articles on how Physician Assistants improve patient care in a dermatology office. She is affiliated with several associations including the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and Society of Dermatology for Physician Assistants.
